Assistant Project Worker
Salary: £16,687.00 /year
26 hours per week (actual salary pro rata’d to part time hours)
The Society of St James (SSJ) delivers high impact, person-centred, accommodation services to people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse and mental health problems. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, our main aim and priority is to find people with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own.
All Saints is support hostel for young people aged 16-25. The Service provides a range of support from social and emotional support to lifeskills development, with all young people completing the Lifeskills Programme to prepare them to move on to more independent accommodation.
Your role will involve providing lifeskills and housing related support to individuals with complex needs through structured support planning and keywork.
You will be required to work a rota that includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
Experience and knowledge of the needs of vulnerable young people who have been in the care and/or criminal justice system and have mental health and/or substance misuse problems would be an advantage.
