Saturday and Sunday on a rota basis of early and late shifts

Week 1 – Sat 7am – 3pm and Sun 7am – 3pm / Week 2 – Sat 2pm – 10pm and Sun 2pm – 10pm

Vacancy Detail

Southampton Street Intensive Homeless Hostel has a permanent, part-time vacancy for an Assistant Project Worker to work in a busy, demanding, but rewarding environment.

Ideal Candidate

It would be desirable if you had some experience and/or knowledge and understanding of working with vulnerable people or in a residential setting or similar. Working as part of the team and be committed to providing a good quality service with a focus on promoting harm minimisation, basic life skills and emotional support.

You will have the ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external contacts and clients.

We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to meet the needs of clients, a sense of humour and empathy for the client group is essential.
