Ashley Christopher, Team Leader – Saints4Sports and Re-Fit, is taking part in an unenviable task to raise money for The Society of St James.

Ashley, alongside fellow swimmers Chris Cole, Dave Perry, Luke Perry, Steve Hansford, and reserve swimmer Natasha Bye-Brooks, all from Shirley Swimming Pool, will be embarking on a 21 mile – as the crow flies – relay swim across the English Channel this Saturday (24th) – if the weather is good.

Ashley said: “I’m raising money for SSJ as I truly believe in being able to give those I work to help the opportunity to turn their lives around. The impact this charity has in helping vulnerable people is wonderful. I have seen people have their lives transformed right in front of my eyes thanks to the work done by SSJ.”
