Re-Set: Get Learning

Creating New Opportunities Through Learning

Re-Set is a learning pathway designed to support people with a history of homelessness and other complex needs to access education, develop new skills and build confidence.

We understand that many of the people we support may have had difficult experiences with education in the past or may have limited qualifications. Some may feel that gaining new skills or qualifications is no longer possible for them.

Re-Set is designed to change that.

Learning at Your Own Pace

We provide opportunities for people to begin learning in a supportive environment and progress at a pace that works for them.

Rather than expecting people to immediately commit to long-term courses, the learning pathway can begin with shorter, accessible courses that can be completed in just a few days.

These may include:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • Health and safety training
  • Food hygiene qualifications
  • Other practical skills and learning opportunities

Building Confidence and Skills

The aim is to help people get back into the habit of learning, build their confidence and demonstrate that gaining new skills and qualifications is achievable.

As confidence grows, learners can progress onto longer and more advanced courses, opening up further opportunities for personal development, volunteering, training and employment.

Supporting a Brighter Future

Education can provide more than just qualifications. It can help people build confidence, discover new interests and develop the skills they need to take positive steps towards a more independent and fulfilling future.

Through Re-Set, we aim to create accessible learning opportunities that meet people where they are and support them on their journey towards achieving their goals. To continue delivering this service, it is vital we get donations to support us in this work.
