Support us in this first ever SSJ keepy-uppy challenge!
This World Cup we’re excited to launch our SSJ World Cup keepy-uppy challenge. Trying to reach 50,000 by the end of the World Cup!
We’d love as many people as possible to get involved. Whether you’re a total beginner or already have some skills, it’s all about having fun whilst helping to end homelessness. The full challenge will officially run from:
Monday 18th May – 19th July
What’s the challenge?
We’re aiming to reach an incredible 50,000 keepy-uppies this World Cup – and every single one helps support our work to end homelessness locally.
How to take part:
- Film yourself, your colleagues, and/or service users doing as many keepy- uppies as you can
- You get 3 attempts, and all 3 scores are added together to make your final total
- Send your videos and final score to: fundraising@ssj.org.uk OR via DM on Facebook or Instagram
Make it your own:
- Add in any skills, tricks, or creative flair you’ve got.
- Feel free to make it fun – dress up in a silly costume or even use something unusual like a piece of fruit for your keepy uppies.
- Once you’ve finished, nominate 3 other people to take on the challenge.
Pledge & impact:
- If you’d like to contribute, you can pledge 10p per keepy uppy or donate £10 to take part.
- Click here to visit our JustGiving page and donate.
- After your first go, keep it going! You can continue daily or regularly to build your total and help us reach our target of 50,000 keepy-uppies.
Stay involved
Send us your totals and updates via email or social media DMs so we can track progress on our Target-O-Meter, which will be shared on our socials each week.
We’ll also be running regular polls to vote for:
- Best effort.
- Best skills and tricks.
- We’ll be posting weekly montages of your videos and announcing winners for best effort and best skills, so be sure to follow our social channels to stay updated.
