Make a difference this Christmas

The Society of St James Christmas Campaign is now live, and we are looking to raise £5,000 to help vulnerable people in the area enjoy a better Christmas.

Can you help us raise £5,000?

The festive period can be a very difficult time for those accessing our services and we are often the only support network they have. This includes those suffering from or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence, drug and alcohol addictions, mental health issues and learning difficulties.

You only need to take a walk outside to know that winter is here – and with that in mind, we have launched our Christmas Campaign to help those who are most vulnerable this winter.

The Met Office has already predicted wide-spread frost throughout December, with rain also forecast for the weeks in the run-up to Christmas, making it a miserable time for those who are most affected by the weather.

5,000 vulnerable people

Each year we support over 5,000 vulnerable people across Hampshire, ‘Our Give a Christmas Meal’ campaign helps us to provide as many of our service users as possible with a hot meal or small gift to help them feel valued at a time in which many can feel very alone.

Together we can make a difference

We want to put a smile on the faces of those who have nothing to look forward to this Christmas, and are looking to raise £5,000, so we can make a difference this Christmas. Every penny you raise will go towards making sure those less fortunate can have something to look forward to this festive season.

Any additional money above the £5,000 raised in this campaign will be used towards our on-going mission to buy more housing across Hampshire, in order to get people off the streets and into suitable move-on accommodation.

Thank you to everybody who has raised money for us in 2019, and to those who have donated towards our Christmas Campaign. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.
