Give your time

We know how valuable spare time is to people, but if you do have a few hours to spare, we have lots of activities you could help us with, either on a regular basis or as a one-off.

Start volunteering

You can fundraise for us as an individual by taking part in one of our events, or by organising an event of your own, such as a Bake Sale, which are always popular!

Other ways to support us

Give as you live

Regular giving is a great way to support the work that we do and for every £1.00 donated, Gift Aid enables us to claim an extra 25p. As a regular donor you will have the satisfaction of knowing that every penny you give to SSJ is used to enhance our service provision and provide additional support for vulnerable people that our local authority funded contracts no longer cover.

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a gift to SSJ in your will can have a hugely beneficial impact on how we are able to help people. Some of the houses that we own for homeless and vulnerable people to live in have been part funded by money gifted to us in wills. Providing a safe home for people is the most important aspect of our work and helping us to do more of this would be an exceptional way to leave a legacy - a house lasts for a very long time.

Organise a food collection

Helping us to provide decent meals for people is a really valuable way to help us. We really appreciate dried and tinned foods, cooking oils, condiments and sauces, tea, coffee and sugar, fruit juices and squashes and any food item that can be made in a mug!

Buy a Brick Campaign

Providing more housing for homeless people is one of our key aims and your business can help. There are approximately seven bricks per square foot on an average house of 1,200 square feet. Help us to provide more houses to help more homeless people have a safe home by sponsoring bricks.
