The Big Challenge 2020

Challenge-yourself

Are you ready for a challenge?

Set yourself a challenge in 2020 and help vulnerable people facing homelessness turn their lives around.

We work with vulnerable people who face difficult challenges every day and we passionately believe that every person should be given the chance to turn things around – no matter how challenging their situation.

So why not overcome your own challenge at the same time as our service users overcome theirs – and pledge your support to End Homelessness.

Ideas to get you going:

  • Get together with some of your work colleagues and arrange an event to support SSJ
  • Get fit and aim to run a marathon in 2020
  • Challenge yourself to overcome your own fears
  • Read our blog to find out what the 2020Challenge campaign means

Callum’s Challenge for SSJ

Callum, and his Dad, Kim, took on the challenge to ride their bikes along the Tarka Cycle Trail, in North Devon. Thanks to their efforts, SSJ will help vulnerable people take steps towards a permanent home to call their own. Don’t take our word for it, here’s what Callum had to say:

“It was fun and tiring. You feel really proud when you finish it because you know you cycled a big distance and realise you raised a lot of money.”

"I don’t give up easily. I feel good about doing this because I have raised money for people less fortunate than me."

How your funds help

Any funds raised will be used towards our on-going mission to buy more housing across Hampshire, in order to get people off the streets and into suitable move-on accommodation. We are heading into 2020 even more determined to End Homelessness, and we hope you will join us in this campaign.

Tell us

Don’t forget to tell us about all the great things you do when you pledge to raise money for SSJ! You can tag us with #SSJ2020, find us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and tell us what you are doing!
