Supporting People Towards a Healthier Future

Our specialist alcohol supported accommodation service is part of the Southampton housing related support service and provides accommodation and tailored support for up to 24 adults who are experiencing problematic alcohol use.

We support people to work towards a better and healthier future at a pace that feels manageable and appropriate for them.

Everyone's experience with alcohol is different, which is why the support we provide is tailored around individual needs, circumstances and goals.

We work alongside each person to help them make positive changes at a pace they feel comfortable with. Our focus is on supporting people to build a healthier future while providing a safe and stable place to live.

Keeping People Safe

For people who have become physically dependent on alcohol, suddenly stopping or significantly reducing their intake can be dangerous and, in some circumstances, life-threatening.

We work closely with healthcare professionals to help ensure that any plan to reduce alcohol use is managed safely and appropriately. This approach helps to reduce the risk of harm while supporting people to take positive steps towards their recovery goals.

We encourage the people we support to access the wide range of opportunities available across our services, helping them discover new interests, develop skills and find something positive to focus on and work towards.
