Grant Received from the National Lottery Community Fund

We are thrilled to announce that the SSJ Academy has been awarded a prestigious grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, totalling £835,610!

We are extremely grateful to the National Lottery and National Lottery players for recognising our hard work and for investing in SSJ and our efforts to help vulnerable people experiencing homelessness.

The National Lottery Community Fund offers grants to support community-led projects with the desire to strengthen society and improve lives across the UK. Their mission is to help create a flourishing society filled with healthy and happy people. 

The SSJ Academy is a comprehensive programme of meaningful activities, educational pathways, and volunteering opportunities, which empowers service users to address their physical, mental, and social needs, so they can transform their lives.

The SSJ Academy has been 10 years in the making, with lots of hard work from our team to refine what works best for service users, and it is wonderful to see the results so far. Find out more about the SSJ Academy here.

As a charity, we depend on the good nature of our wonderful community, to donate your time, money and unused items, but grants like The National Lottery Community Fund allows us to significantly expand our services and take a strategic leap with what we can offer to those in need.
