Join the team for ABP Southampton Marathon 2019

Join Team SSJ at this year’s Southampton ABP Marathon!

Our runners have helped raise over £15,000 in the last few years, all of which has helped us to provide more housing and support to vulnerable homeless people. Every year thousands of people take to the streets of Southampton in this fantastic event for a whole variety of reasons – as a personal challenge, to raise money for charity, even just for fun! The atmosphere is electric and there is nothing more inspiring than standing on the Itchen Bridge and seeing the immense commitment of the incredible people who take part!

We have 15 runner places in the 10K event and 5 in the Half-marathon event. To register for one of these places please contact fundraising@ssj.org.uk to access the code to be used at registration.

All we ask is that you commit to try and raise £200 through taking part in the event. It doesn’t matter if you can’t raise that much as every donation counts, and you may even be able to raise more!

What do you get as part of #TeamSSJ?

We appreciate you taking the time to support us, so to help you in the run up to the event and on the day itself, we’ll be providing:

• A free Race Day Pack – which includes a green SSJ branded running vest, bottled water and energy snacks
• Links to online resources to help with training and recovery
• Space to relax, cool off and learn more about the work we do in our charity tent
